Tracy to Give Talks in L.A. Today and Tomorrow
I'm very excited, because tonight I'll give my first talk explaining the Caveman Diet. The talk will be held at my mom's house in Calabasas (Los Angeles), California. Tomorrow, I'll give the talk again. People who come can ask questions and I expect there will be a lot! I'll also give my views on vitamins and fish oil and give demos on how to prepare Caveman meals.
If you'd like directions for the talks, which are at 7:30 PM and should last until about 9:30 PM, please email me at tracy@smartcarblife.com. I may not get to check my email as the time for the talks approaches, so please email me soon if you're thinking about coming.
New Look for the Newsletter and Website
You may have noticed that the hamburger logo that used to be at the top of my newsletter has been switched out for fruits and vegetables. This reflects the new direction I'm taking in recommending that people follow the Caveman Diet.
My new website, www.CavemanEating.com, which will also reflect this change, is in the process of being constructed and should be up within a week.
Incidentally, I just received a UPS notice that my proof copy of The Caveman Diet will be arriving today! Once I've checked the book over, I'll send out an email letting people know that it's available for purchase.
Try Out These Recipes
If you've just signed up for my newsletter (all the folks at the Passover Seders I went to, for instance), you have an email that gives you a copy of The Caveman Cookbook, a new ebook that's free to people who receive this newsletter.
This is a really amazing ebook, because it's a community recipe book that will grow as people contribute recipes.
The first twenty-two recipes are from me. The rest will be from everyone in the Caveman Eating community!
If you have a favorite Caveman recipe that you'd like to contribute to the cookbook, send it along to me and I'll evaluate it to see that it's Caveman-favorable. I'll credit you for the recipe, so everyone will know it's yours! You can even put a link to your website or give your email so people can contact you and thank you for the recipe.
Here's your link to the cookbook:
You can forward the cookbook to other people, but I recommend that instead you encourage them to sign up for the newsletter. The cookbook will be updated regularly with new recipes and if they sign up, they'll get all the new updates.
Fish Oil for Braniacs
Fish oil makes your brain work better. So, smartie, here's a comprehensive quiz covering the last few newsletters to see how brainy about fish oil you've become...
1. Your friend tells you that they just bought some inexpensive fish oil. They say they got a great deal on it at the discount megastore. You tell them that cheap fish oil can be bad for them. They ask why. You say:_____________________________
2. Your friend asks you which is the best fish oil to buy for the money and where to get it. You check out Issue #52 and say:_____________________________
