Testimonial and Special Offer

25 Year-Old Office Worker Loses 120 Pounds

Michael

Michael, a 25-year-old law clerk from Austin, Texas, lost over a third of his body weight, gained lean muscle mass and revitalized his health when he ate like a caveman.

Michael's Story:

"I lost 120 pounds eating a diet similar to the Caveman Diet. I weighed 285 pounds and now weigh 165 pounds. Recently, I've been following the Caveman Diet more strictly and have lost eight more pounds.

I've been gaining more and more muscle mass. My energy level is much higher. I rest better when I sleep and don't wake up feeling as tired. I'm more mentally alert.

The Caveman Diet has been a big help. I've already been on the diet for a number of years and now I'm following it more strictly. For dinner, I eat fish or grilled chicken with vegetables and nuts or fruit, along with a glass of freshly-made green tea or natural fruit juice.

Some of my friends who are my age are starting to have physical problems--lower back problems, arthritis and joint problems. Having better eating and physical habits can help them to lead longer, healthier lives.

The Caveman Diet is definitely helping people get in better shape and get healthier."

How to Get Michael's Great Results

Michael took his health into his own hands. He made a choice to get healthier and stuck to it.

To get results like Michael's you need motivation, persistence and the Caveman Diet.

All it takes to begin is taking the first step: committing to a life of optimal health, energy and the great body you deserve.

Health Hint

Green Smoothies Boost Your Health

I've recently started making drinks called "Green Smoothies."

These are a blend of fruits and raw leafy greens that can help heal stomach problems and alkalinize the body. Green Smoothies are also great for your immune system, so drink them when you feel under the weather and when you want an energy boost.

Green Smoothies were invented by Victoria Boutenko, a raw foods expert.

Here's a recipe for a Green Smoothie. You can vary the recipe by adding a little sliced mango, leaving out the apple or banana, etc.

1 cup orange juice
1/4 medium banana
1/4 small apple (without the core)
1 cup raw kale leaves (the leaves, without the tough stems)
Optional: 1/4 cup cold water or a few ice cubes

Put the ingredients in a blender and blend for at least 1 minute.

How to Drink Green Smoothies on the Caveman Diet

As you can read more about in The Caveman Diet, it's best to eat protein along with carbs instead of eating just carbs alone. This keeps you much more satisfied and balances your hormones so you stay healthier.

I drink my Green Smoothie for breakfast. Before drinking the smoothie, I eat protein, like a cup of egg whites cooked with a tablespoon of olive oil. Then I drink the smoothie slowly so it doesn't spike my blood sugar.

I hope you give green smoothies a try. They're definitely green, but they're also sweet and taste good, and they're exceptionally good for you.
